what the future holds The Mission Outsider Poets Project The highly anticipated release "Don't Call Life a Bad Word" is coming out on Porto Franco records in May 2010. This music uses texts/poems from local mission poets that are marginalized from the mainstream. Michael Bernard Loggins is a poet and writer who is developmentally disabled. His creative use of language and perceptions as a disabled person of color are as unique as they are beautiful and often times silly. Bart Alberti is a autistic savant that killed himself a few years ago. His peotry is highly intellectual and exploits the friction of juxtaposing imagery to create a unique beauty. Swan is a mentally ill homeless man that hand types leaflets that expound on his belief system, centered on feeding pigeons, rats and other vermin as a holy act. Argument for Oh-Day Week Eleazar of Worms a darkly epic exploration into the roots of jewish mysticism. Eleazar of Worms was a mystic, scholar and rabbi who explored hidden meanings in the sacred jewish texts using gematria. His four book series "Secrets of Secrets" delves into these hidden worlds, divuldging the true names of god, the secrets of the divine chariot, angels and even how to make a golem. This project will take you through his world, musically, using the amplified clarinet metal band Simulacra, with lush strings and low brass. The Dragon Awakens a 200 page graphic novel, with musical accompaniment, that takes place in a parellel universe. A world made up of gods (Dante Counterstamp, Gore Cranialspinal) eccentric scientists (Hanks Piperaceous, Millicent Ruckdeschel) robots (Milton Chromogram, Ping and Pong Gamelin) superheros (The Atheist, The Anarchist, The Voice) Ghost Aliens, monsters, and of course politicians. Unreleased projects ANIMATION COLLABORATION WITH MARK WILSON For several years I have been collaborating with local artist Mark Wilson on an experimental animation project. The results are an hour plus soundtrack featuring the chamber group Crafty Apples, and the heavy chamber bass clarinet quartet Edmund Welles. This music is recorded and mixed and will probably be self released shortly with limited edition prints from Mark. Animation excerpt Argument for Oh-Day Week LOVE TRIANGLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Another electric clarinet album is recorded, and in the overdub stage. This band features Myles Boisen on guitar, Gino Robair on drums, Eli Crews on bass and myself on electric clarinet, keyboards and other effects. Number 4 (rough mix) THORNY BROCKY My working band recorded another record recently while we were finishing up the abovementioned vocal project.
